Hike to the Dufferin Quarry Bridge

One year ago, I was determined to hike to the Dufferin Quarry Bridge. When looking at the Niagara Escarpment from Milton, Ontario, you will see a gap in the escarpment but if you look closely, there is a bridge. This bridge was constructed to continue the Bruce Trail. The Bruce Trail starts at the Niagara River and goes as North as Tobermory (by the way, Tobermory has the clearest bluest fresh water that is blue as the Caribbean). In total, the Bruce Trail is over 890 km long with many branching side trails.

I searched online for posts and Youtube for videos on how to hike to the Quarry Bridge. There was not much information available. I had to drive around Milton a few times to find the best access point. With some trial and error, my best starting point was from the Hilton Conservation. It was about 7 km from Hilton Falls to the Quarry Bridge. I had to hike back to my parked car, making the hike 3 hours in duration. Full instructions on how to hike to the Quarry Bridge via the Bruce Trail can be found on my blog: http://guidedviews.blogspot.com/
