Hike to Partnach Gorge - Germany

Welcome to #MonthlyTopic initiated by @HiroyukiTakisawa. The topic of this month is “A quiet place”. Now I will take you to hike with me to Partnach Gorge in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.

I started to hike around 9:00 from Hotel Trifthof Garni. Just about 9:15, I saw these cute buddies. They were enjoying the grass in the farm.

I continued to walk to Wasserfall. Along the way, it started to rain a bit. I was a bit scared as there was no hikers at all.

Luckily the rain stopped. And about 10:30, I found an open space. It was good to see the sun again.

Then I continued to walk in the forest. Hiking alone in Autumn, you will hear some leaf cracking all the time. It is a bit scary to me as I don’t get used to it.

Finally I came to the Partnach Gorge. This is the exit side of the gorge. I really enjoyed the view there.

You can walk into the gorge with a small fee. Since I wanted to hike and enjoy the scenery, so I decided to climb the mountain to the entrance of the gorge instead. I stopped at Kaiserschmarrn-Alm for a refreshment and using a restroom.

About 2:45, I got to the entrance of the gorge. The view from the bridge at the entrance is really nice.

Then I walked back to the hotel. Along the way, the view is beautiful too.

There is a small farm along the way to the hotel as well. I really love the shot of these cute Alpacas eating the grass in the farm.

And that was my day. Hiking in the forest is a quiet place for me. Anyhow at the exit side and entrance side of the gorge are a bit crowded but you can still find some quiet corners to relax and enjoy.

@TorM I really enjoyed this hike and I hope you enjoy this post as well.

Thank you, @Ant_Bad_Yogi
Yeah, hiking is definitely one of the good quiet places. Especially if the trail would not be crowded, that hiking will be perfect as you said.
We can enjoy a quiet and comfortable space via hiking in nature.

Your photos are always beautiful… !

Teh @Nyainurjanah Autumn colors are my favorite view too. Yes, I was alone. Some moments I was a bit scared as there was no one at all during the hike. And you rely on the sign only or maybe your instinct. Hahaha

I’m not sure how far I covered. I will try to find out tomorrow and let you know. Thank you so much for the compliment and support.

Teh @Nyainurjanah I found out from Google Maps timeline that I covered about 11 kms. I started from 9:00 and ended at 16:15. I’m a slow hiker, you know. Slow but sure. :slightly_smiling_face:

Wow, you walk a lot. That is good for you. I don’t walk much, but I practice yoga everyday. Now I’m back to practice handstand again. Hope one day I can do it. Anyhow I have practiced handstand for years but not success. wkwkwk

Simply amazing, @Ant_Bad_Yogi I never saw the beauty of Germany like this. In my mind, the sketch of Germany was with High Rise buildings and very advanced Country. Because mostly I saw the pictures of major cities. But this is totally different, A pure beauty of this amazing country. I really fall in love with these wonderful photos.

Let me share this amazing post with my friends from Germany :de:
