What a beautiful picture @CaptainOmala-97 .

What is the name of the food on the white plate?

Is it snacks or main dish.

What is the name of the other dark brownish viscous liquid?

Is this meal breakfast, Lunch Dinner or just dessert.

I am asking you this numerous questions because you need to accompany your pictures with appropriate explanations, this will help other Local Guides who come around the post to interact with you on connect.

Give it a try and edit this post with the questions I’ve asked.

Thank you @CaptainOmala-97

The dark brown liquid like paste in the calabash is porridge ‘Uji ya wimbi’, uji is porridge in swahili, wimbi is millet.

It can be taken for breakfast or lunch, or in between breakfast-lunch or lunch-supper.

The other dish contains samosa and lemon, samosa is usually a snack.

The porridge can be taken with bread, cassava, Irish potatoes…but for me I chose samosa.

The porridge was sour, meaning it had lemon mixture, but you can have plain ones without lemon.
