Hidden post - why?

Hello, i have a question - why do I have a hidden post that I wrote according to my real experience?

Particulary speaking about - here

This is not the first case that has happened to me.

I believe you are refering to hidden reviews on Google Maps and not posts here on Connect, @JanStefan .

It is always a good idea to go over all your reviews to make sure they all adhere to the guidelines, including:
Prohibited and Restricted Content
and
Format Specific Criteria (See under Text Reviews and Captions).

If you need to identify which of your reviews are hidden please see this useful tip.

So hidden reviews happen when you violate the guidelines or a business owner or another local guide flags your reviews for some violation.

Cheers
Morten

PS

I see your review of the real estate agent ok. It is very long. Why did you think it was made private?

@JanStefan

We actually can’t see the review, but only the edit.

Reading that looks like you are engaging a personal conversation with the business owner, and this is not the function of the reviews.

On the link already shared by @MortenCopenhagen you can read:

Only post content based on your experience or questions about experiences at the specific location. Maps is not meant to be a forum for general political, social commentary, or personal rants. Content that does not meet this standard will be removed.

If you had an issue with the business, the review is not the place for solving it.

There are legal actions that should be taken if an agreement wasn’t respected, but for sure a review is not what should be used.

This is most likely the reason why your review was taken down

@ErmesT

If you click on more you will find the original review below the edit.

But you are perfectly correct that this is more of a personal rant that is definitely not suitable as a review on Google Maps.

@JanStefan May I suggest you take it down. Having an issue with a business should not be solved or argued on Google Maps.

Hoping for a good solution for you and the business.

Thanks for the reply, now everything is ok.

P.S. @ErmesT @MortenCopenhagen My opinion is that there was an incorrect translation. The review does not contain “personal rant”, it only states the facts.

I agree with you @JanStefan , regarding the reviews.

And I agree that in the edit (at first I only read that part from your screenshot, assuming that the review was not visible) was a reaction to the owner reply, however the assumption in the rules remain valid, as it becomes a private conversation, that should be kept private.

Thanks @MortenCopenhagen , I didn’t realised the review was visible (the title of the post is about a hidden review) so I translated the screenshot only
