You guessed it! This short post is about neat and off-the-beaten path places to eat! And, yes, many of them are family-owned and not part of big chains or major marketing campaigns!
I love finding them, I love talking about them and I love adding them to Google maps! I also like the follow-up questions the maps keep pestering me with! 
One such example is this place:
https://bit.ly/2ULKTLJ - one almost needs a guide dog to get to it! Granted, it was already on Google maps before i visited but just by looking at it, it’d have never ventured to go in! Word-of-mouth and Google maps certainly did the trick!
Turns out the owner is the chef, prep cook, waiter and the head of ingredients’ procurement! He also has his own moonshine brand and it was wicked good!
