Hidden beauty of Phander valley

All photos are taken by my Mobile on 29/08/20

Let us introduce you a hidden place of Phander valley that you will not find details and route of this place on the internet or anywhere on any website. You will find its location and route plan at the end of the post. If you want to watch the video of this road, you will also find the link below. As we entered the Phander valley, at our right we saw some colorful tents far away it is Dream land Island hotel.

If someone want to go to this hotel Which is basically a camping site so he have to go over a very beautiful wooden bridge and he will arrive at this camp site I will soon write a separate post about this beautiful camping site

We decided to go instead of this way We went further towards famous Shandur pass at the end of Phander valley and from there we thought why not go on the left side of the river instead of going on the same road. I asked some locals about the road from other side of the river they answered me in positive yes You can go this way too.

So I turned the car this way. My decision was probably not so good because it was completely off road and the car had a lot of trouble going this way. But one of the positive aspects of this is that we saw the beauty of *Phander valley*that we could never see under normal circumstances. I noticed that normal traffic does not pass through this road at all nor do vehicles pass through it nor does anyone come from there in a routine way.

There was grass growing on this road was untouched and looks like virgin grass. I was feeling proud that This grass was touched for the first time by the tyres of any car other than locals.

Searching for the Dream land Island hotel, we came to a place where the road in front of us was completely closed. On the left was the river, while on the right there were bushes and the road was not visible, I felt as if it was dead end and we were in a big problem. Due to rain and slipperiness, our car’s tyres were slipping a lot and the tyres of the car were not getting caught, Bushes were hitting the car and kept scratching.

Finally, God willing, I got out of the bushes and after going a little further, there was a lot of mud. My car got stuck there again. We stood there for about half an hour. There was no traffic. There were no hope. population is very far from here and i didn’t want to leave my kids alone in car for taking help towards village.

Finally, two motorcyclists came and I requested them. I took their bikes and brought a tractor to a nearby village for toeing my car in swamp type Mud . There were five or six laborers with them. Came and pushed my car and so by the grace of God we got out of this mud. Meanwhile the car was full of mud and our clothes too. Finally we got out with the help of tractor and reached Dream land Island hotel.

The trail was like a dream track for bikers because it had everything for off road biking , All along the way there was a small lake of turquoise colors started from Gilgit River. And all along the way there were trees on both side of trek and looks amazing and beautiful. This road is not good for a car, but for a bike.It is very lovely off road and and dream dirt trek will take about an hour and a half to walk four to five kilometers and it will take us an hour and a half in the car.
It is a very good road and every one must visit this place if ever go Phander valley.

Hello @Muhammad_Usman ,

Thank you for sharing your trip and these beautiful photos with us!

I enjoyed reading your experience and the quality of your pictures is simply stunning! Almost unbelievable that they were taken with a mobile camera!

Is this a famous destination among locals and tourists? Are there other similar valleys in your country?

Personally, to me it looks like the perfect place to have a picnic with the family.

Absolutely stunning photographs! Thank you for sharing with us. The Phander Valley looks as if it is a a magical place to take a vacation. I will follow your postings of it.

I find the fact that you use a mobile phone camera very interesting because I also do. I originally bought my mobile specifically to use the camera. However, now use it for so much more.

An Italian proverb says: “whoever leaves the known way for the new one knows for sure what he loses, but not what he finds”
The roads must be traveled, to find out where they lead, and some nasty surprises can sometimes be the best way to discover beautiful things.

So thanks for this new post aboutPhander Valley, @Muhammad_Usman . I agree with my sister @SoniaK , you are slowly, post by post, capturing us more and more.

Do I need again to mention the beauty of your photos? Maybe not, you choose carefully the ones that you share with us, and I am sure that you, like me, only share photos that you personally like.

Thank you @Muhammad_Usman for mention me in your post.

It is very interesting to read.

The incredible beauty of the valley is fascinating. Untouched nature, bright green trees and grass, and the amazing color of the water-bright turquoise. This is an incredibly beautiful landscape. Your photos are very beautiful! I liked the video where your children point the way and the road winds through the trees near the lake. I noticed that the trees that are along the road, the trunks from below are carefully obliged to brushwood .How to explain it? and it is interesting to know what the locals grow in the fields? the kids must have a long way to go to school? I think next time you’ll write about the valley hotel. It will be very interesting to see.

My best wishes,

Inga

@Muhammad_Usman Your photos are unreal as usual. They look suitable enough for some beautiful fairy tales book. I don’t know how you make them. Such mastery is impossible for me.

During watching your long video it’s easy to imagine yourself walking along the road, foots in soft grass. This place reminds me the village I spent the summers in my childhood, though the nature is different.

I have the same question as @helga19 . Almost all trees are protected by branches and brushwood, what for? The only reason I can imagine is to save trees from hares. But I can’t imagine such extremely hungry hares :face_with_hand_over_mouth:… or maybe some different wild animals…

Excuse me for the necessity to call me twice for your post, I have little time to read Connect now. I enjoyed your post.
