Hey! I'm Eric currently living in Thailand

Living in a foreign country as a guest, I started Maps to let eventual travellers, tourists and visitors know more about places I enjoyed visiting like sites of interests, landscapes, temples, cultural and historical sites but also places I enjoy socializing, eating, drinking and sharing time, fun and parts of life with family, locals and non-local friends or alone.

I enjoy sharing pictures of food, info and locations and all but also and mainly about places dear by their atmospheres, friendliness and welcoming.

Located in Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai’s Lanna, Northern Thailand, South East Asia, I’ll share pictures and reviews from Chiang Dao’s area, places and sites but also from Laos, Myanmar’s ex-Burma, Hong kong and more…

I love food and like to share about it, Thailand’s food description by David Thompson, an expert on Thai food, observes that unlike many other cuisines, Thai cooking rejects simplicity and is about “the juggling of disparate elements to create a harmonious finish”. 7 dishes were among the 50 world’s best dishes in 2017. From Wikipedia.
With Yunnan, Cantonese, Hainanese, Chinese, Indian, Siamese Western and world influences, Thai food is quite yummy! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @Ericg-1 ,

Your post has a French tag which I’ve removed as it’s written in English. Language labels are marked when you are using a specific language and helps Local Guides find posts in the language they speak or are interested in.

Locations are marked in separately and should not be mixed with the language tag. Please take a moment to check our post on this topic below. Thanks!

How do I find posts in my language
