Hey fellow traveler! Finding inexpensive vegetarian food need not be so difficult.

For the record - Zeroing in on one thing that I like sharing on maps is a really tough ask, but here we go.

I remember traveling as a student with about 50 pounds a month as pocket money in UK and scouting for pound shops, economy stores and worst of all, vegetarian food. Believe it or not, a vegetarian burger costed 7 pounds compared to a 3.5 pound cheeseburger (the difference did matter a lot with my part time daily wages standing at 10 pounds)

Fast forward 6 years and here I’m looking for lifestyle stores, eco-friendly brands and wait for it- vegetarian food options. Unfortunately every place I travel to has crazily high-priced vegetarian food or none at all resulting me munching french fries and adding a few pounds, going back on fitness routine and reviewing fitness and sport centers - you get the drift, it is a vicious cycle.

Regardless of where I travel, I always look for affordable vegetarian options and I share it with the world in every possible way. Right from vegetarian rotis in Chennai to vegetarian pastas in Russia, I want to reinforce the thought that being a vegetarian doesn’t stop you from trying their local cuisine. It need not necessarily mean spending half your travel budget in food. Every city has a special cafe/restaurant that is veg-friendly - we just need to dig deeper.

Since I travel with my parents quite often, I also share places that are family-friendly to stay. The same applies for solo travel as well - I want to inspire as many girls as possible to travel trusting google maps.

I’m a huge supporter of local businesses - those lesser known cafes, the boutique that a designer started and the quaint little restaurant only the locals know about. I ensure I save these places when I travel and also make sure that I pay back by adding my photos, reviews and answering questions about them.

At the end of the day, I share so that I can do my little bit to help people travel, eat and stay better.
