This morning I had the opportunity to visit one of the tourist destinations which is only 5 km from my house. This place is called Hawai Waterpark, which is located in the real estate area of Graha Kencana, Malang City. Before going to this place, I took the time to see the ratings and reviews written by visitors before me. Some visitors like challenging water games that don’t seem to be found anywhere else. However, some other visitors wrote their disappointment by leaving one star, and writing about unfriendly service and strict rules not allowed to bring food.
Finally, I decided to go to Hawai Waterpark, to find out firsthand how the experience of traveling to this place, while trying to provide balanced reviews, so that other people can be helped to get a fairly detailed and objective reviews. Around 9:40 a.m., I ordered Grab Car, one of the online taxis in Malang City. I went with my wife, my little daughter, and three nieces. Arriving at the location, the queue extends at the ticket counter. I immediately entered the queue. Next to the cashier, the entry ticket price is written at 100 thousand rupiah per person on weekends. And there are attractive offers, free tickets for visitors over 60 years old. Next, I will bring my mother, my grandmother, and my uncle and aunt here so that they can feel the sensation of getting a free ticket. When arrived in the front queue, there was a 20% discount when using a M**** Bank credit card or debit card for a maximum of 4 people for one card. I then combined the card I had and my wife’s card to get a discount for 6 people. After completing payment with the card, I was given a special bracelet that contained data on the number of followers, and later it could be used to pay for everything according to top up at several red kiosks. At the gate, each bag is checked to make sure every visitor does not bring any food. If found, the food must be deposited in a special storage area that can be taken back after leaving later.
After passing through the food inspection and entrance ticket gates, my little daughter, who had been here before, invited to go directly to the dressing room located on the left wing. Together with her three cousins, he entered the dressing room, while I waited outside while refilling / top up a total of 300 rupiah in a red kiosk. From the dressing room, we headed to the water pool which was about 100 meters away. On the left, there is a fairly shallow pool of water measuring around 800 square meters for children under five years old. On the right, there is a water pool measuring around 2,500 square meters, complete with various water games that can be used by older children to adults. Going forward 30 meters, there is the largest pool of water which is a tsunami pool and a favorite pool in this place, where visitors can feel the sensation of a tsunami-like artificial wave. My kids immediately entered the water pool, carrying 2 large buoy that could be used by 2 people each. I with my wife, relaxing by the pool while watching the kids play water. Cheerfully, they played water, climbed up and slid down, while splashing with each other. Although the weather was quite hot, it became fresher with splashes of water from a height that spread carried by the wind.
At 11:00 a.m., my wife and I shifted to the food court. It turned out that the place was quiet far from the pool, and we had to walk around 150 meters. There, we ordered lunch with chicken katsu and cold drinks in a bottle. The price is not too expensive, and there are quite a lot of choices in this place. After having lunch, we returned to the edge of the pool while carrying four boxes of lunch menus for the kids. Arriving at the edge of the water pool, the children were no longer around where we were sitting. I immediately circled the pool, and arrived at the tsunami pool. The kids in the tsunami pool, along with hundreds of other visitors, who were waiting to be hit by artificial tsunami waves. I also recorded those tense moments with a 360-degree camera. In a minutes, the waves also came like a tsunami. Every visitor in the pool was dragged by the waves and shifted a few meters. Some are screaming happily. Some of the children who were carried by their parents cried in fear. After the chaos of the tsunami was over, I called my kids for lunch. Quickly, four boxes of lunch menus were eaten. And they returned to playing in the water pool.
At 3:00 p.m., I told the children to finish the game. They immediately went to the dressing room. After that, we headed for one of the photo spots set in Hawai Water Park. Satisfied taking pictures, we headed for the exit. Behind the exit, we return the bracelet and take back the deposit and balance of the remaining money. Then we go home happily, bring pleasure after a day of relaxing and sightseeing in this cool tourist destination in Malang City.
Tips:

This is my review on Google Maps:
" First time to this place, with my wife, child and three nieces. The location is quite near from my house, only about 5 km. Ticket prices are Rp. 100,000 on weekends, but get a 20% discount when paying using CC or M ****** Bank Debit Cards. After getting the bracelet, fill the bracelet with enough deposit because of all payments without using cash. To rent a buoy and buy food, I just fill in Rp.350,000. The location of changing rooms, pools and food courts is quite far. The service of the employees is quite good. The price of food is not too expensive and there are several choices. Don’t bring food from outside, and get ready for the crowd on the weekends #BatuLocalGuides #LetsGuide "
