Verona’s population and administrative employees are well known for their closed-mindedness, but this did not stop the Bottega Bio Bar in Tregnago, province of Verona.
This well-known restaurant is not only famous for their music events, but they are also the pioneers who brought hemp into action. Everything they make in this restaurant is hemp-based: oil, coffee, flour, seeds. Anything that can be substituted with hemp or one of its many forms is there. The rest are all 0 km products from this province, so meat, cheese, cold cuts, and vegetables come from the area around it.
Moreover, it serves as a supermarket for hemp-based products. They have everything from bags to salt lamps, from chocolate to tea and infuses.
Of course, there is much debate around this place, since the old generations do not look at hemp as a good thing.
