I am Juan Manuel, from Dominican Republic. I’m a level 6 local guide.
I started using Google Maps, I believe since 2007, when in my neighborhood there was not many info about it. It wast very dificult to get good adress and not be lost.
So, I knew that bigger cities like NY. France, italie, Egipt and other were vary easy to find place, by name, photos, street names etc. because others haved the ideas, time and the plesure do something for people.
That was my motivation. inmidialitly i started, nameing my on neighborhood, my own street, local store, place around like park, parking lot, bussiness, Museum, beach, restaurant, parks, reviewing place other haved post it.
I notice, how many people helped out to find too places that i wanted to visit. That’s why is very important to continous updating Google Maps. beacause helping other their will motive others to do the same.
