This might sound like a cliche, but being brought up on the premise that helping others, no matter how big or small the issue, or no matter who the person is, is what got me into using different digital platforms to help others. Starting off from using local digital platforms like Pring to provide traffic updates to followers, to becoming a Local Guide, it has been an enriching and a very rewarding experience.
I am a hardcore foodie. I love trying new places within my city/country no matter if its a high end restaurant or a small food kiosk(something that we have in abundance). And it is at these smaller stalls, kiosks and small food eateries with phenomenal and unique tastes that need the most help. I focus on new and smaller business, first enjoying their food or products, and then telling them about google and how they can also use the business platform effectively. These smaller business need all the support that they can get. So, every week I make a concerted effort of visiting smaller eateries/stalls etc and help them set up their accounts and update everything about their businesses while giving them an overview of how to make the most of the platform with extra focus on Google My Business.
In general, I am updating a lot through pictures, reviews, new locations, new places, updating numbers etc but helping these smaller retailers is something that has become a personal goal.
