The most interesting thing I’ve don as a local guide is influencing local businesses around me; there are two specific examples I now can think of, one of them is an Italian restaurant named Dragon that first when I moved in Yazd became a place for me to hang out and it was always empty with some delivery orders so I used to go there to half a quiet meal and this post is about it.
You know I’m so crazy and all criticizing about food and its taste and this city, Yazd, that I moved in two years ago because of my work was not enthusiastic the way I was; I mean they more cared about amount of meal and quality and freshness of its ingredients than its taste while my appetite cares about taste and freshness. So every top rated restaurant or places that friends suggested weren’t according to my taste so I decided to start a tour around the city and test every one of them.
This Dragon Italian Restaurant was on my tour in second month of living in Yazd, it didn’t have much reviews and it was not top rated but it already was there on google maps.
So I enjoyed it so much after two months of searching and not finding my appetite that I left a detailed review of what it has and what I like about it and every time I went there I uploaded a new photo of their dishes. I can’t say it is all for me cause they were on the right track but nowadays I have to wait for around half an hour to find a table and I want to believe that I had a small role in it.
