Small businesses are frequently at a disadvantage when competing with larger companies because they don’t have the same marketing budgets or strategies as the big guys. That is why I love to help these small business owners by doing detailed reviews with compelling photos and adding their venture info such as business hours to google maps listing. Many times these small businesses don’t even know what a google listing is, so it feels very rewarding when you can help them being discovered among thousands of google maps users by adding their listing.
I really enjoy discovering new places to eat or drink in places off the beaten path. One of my favorites edits was adding a food stall called La Vida es Bella This local lady has this small stall on the streets where she cooks the best pupusas, all from scratch and always with a big smile. I can’t believe already 52k people have seen this place in Google Maps. It feels very empowering to help others this way.
Even more astonishing was my addition of the Restaurant Twist. In just months the listing has been seen half a million times! I could not believe it.
I wish these establishments the greatest success in today’s competitive world and I am glad I can do my bit for small business owners who are venturing out there.
