Helping Parents & Students With Reopened Schools

This post is more for people in the United States, but I think it’s applicable to anywhere in the world.

So many public schools had their Google Maps listings automatically change to TEMPORARILY CLOSED this spring. As Local Guides, we all have a responsibility to edit those listings in our community so that they’re reflected as OPEN again.

Whether you agree or not schools should reopen right now during the COVID-19 pandemic, families still need to quickly get directions, contact number and website links ASAP.

Each of us can do our part by reopening every school that is open now and provided live or remote learning. Plus, you have an opportunity to gain additional points by getting rid of all of those bogus map listings for nonexistent schools and district offices.

I agree with you @PaulKang .

As a local guide, we must mark a school open when we learn about that.
Nevertheless, my observation is, most of the students and parents are perpetually in touch with the schools and colleges, through online classes.
