This idea of a local guide is now making sense to me. I am aware when tourist come people take them around and or lead them to places usually as tour guide and charge money. Google innovation which is to use others experiences to assist people with decision making came across to me as voluntary service to unknown people and for that matter, service to the world.
Initially i did not know why i was answering questions about how is this place, rate it, etc.
I just answered or responded to queries about places i have been I was without reservations was always brutally honest because I have a sense of value for everything worth doing. little did I know my posts and reviews were helping people all over.
when i started to get personal inquiries, I started asking myself what this was about there and then i discovered, my voluntary contribution was useful in many ways and so i started taking pictures and many others.
I am very happy that, my contribution to this platform have help someone to choose a cool place to go and I believe the persons did not find the places otherwise. This idea of helping people by just commenting on places I visit have given the learning that, you can be of help to people without meeting them.
