I stumbled upon Local Guides program when I was just browsing google maps and looking into menu photos of one of the restaurants. Since then, there is no going back.
I am a food blogger and also co-founder of a startup which helps businesses to grow for FREE! I have helped a lot of businesses ( mostly restaurants ) by uploading their menu, food photos, interior, opening hours, numbers, adding new businesses and what not!
I lot of people in my community doesn’t even know how that works. I have helped set up a couple of small businesses to be listed on google as well, along with the verification.
I know these are very small things but it has a huge outcome for the businesses as they get a big exposure to the users.
Internet and possible resources are one thing that can take any business up and discover. It opens doors to its potential customers and that’s what I am helping a lot of businesses with zero cost! That’s what makes this program very special to me!
I have taught a lot of people on how to contribute and they feel very special when their contribution is accepted. That’s when I know I love this program more every day!

I personally feel very happy that there is no monetary value but still contributing to something which helps others to grow and also a great exposure to people around the world!
