Please be aware that having two local guides accounts is very much against the guidelines. I recommend you exit the Local Guides Program with this account asap.
I have shared some tips on how best to leave the Local Guides Program here. It will help you understand the consequences and select which leave-method is best for you.
Suspended local guides can find help in my new tutorial called How to Get In and Out of Trouble as a Local Guide.
Remember:
- It might not be possible to get unsuspended
- It can be a lot of work cleaning up whatever mistakes you made
- You may need to use an incognito window/tab to view the posts in my tutorial.

If your account has been suspended, here below you will find a link to know how to contact the Local Guides Team for a verification of the account:
Please remember that, who is banned, through the account, is the person that is managing it, as the account is not acting independently. This means that creating a new account will not help you.
An help can be found easily directly from the Local Guides Help Page , where you will find, on the bottom of the page: Why was I removed from Local Guides?
When a suspended account is accessing connect will be automatically addressed to that page.
As an alternative you can read: Why was I removed from the Local Guides program?
In there you will also find:
"If you think you may have been wrongfully removed from the program and your account hasn’t been reinstated for more than 10 days, don’t create a new account to post on Connect. (That’s against our program rules, too.)
Instead, fill out the Appeal form, letting us know you’ve been removed. Be sure to provide us with your Google Maps profile URL so we can look into it. It can take up to three weeks to investigate banned accounts, so please be patient. Our team will reach out privately as soon as we have an update.
