Hello local guide team , I’m very energised to start a programme for small businesses near me , because of some trending popular big stores we’re ignored these shops who playes a crucial role in a country to provide basic household goods . We have to help them to expand their business without demanding any money for this

We are local guides and we’re the one who helps Google maps for update now, help poor to improve their living of standard.

How to help :-

  1. Mapping - help those who are not aware about Google maps and their free business account on Their vast crowded app for free . Teach them about google maps , managing their account and mails .

  2. Add their shops on maps :- add their shops on Google maps which help them to discover by people online .

  3. Try and review :- if a small vendor or shopkeeper sells good quality of products then rate and review wisely.

I am unable to understand though what the idea here is.

You may edit the topic to change it to the How-To section of the forum.

Also, add the Google Maps links of a few businesses in your area whom you have helped recently along those lines.

Helping a small business is a great initiative, @Mukul_Anand , however I do not see this photo in your contribution in Google Maps.

On the contrary, this photo appear to be taken from Internet, and this is a serious violation of the integrity of the local guides, especially as you said “We are local guides and we’re the one who helps Google maps for update now, help poor to improve their living of standard”.

In Connect and Google Maps we have no tolerance for plagiarism!

Do you own the right or, do you have a written permission from the author, for sharing it?

If the answer to my question is NO, please edit your post to remove the picture.

I’m delighted that you want to help small businesses in your community while contributing to and improving Google Maps.

To further assist you, what comes to mind is to search here on Connect for keywords such as “small business, supporting small business,” etc., and you may find some useful relevant content that will assist you in achieving your goal.

Couple of posts I can refer to you are “My favourite Small Business Contributions” and "Big Love for Small Business"by @FalguniP . Which will be a good example of how to support small businesses and also how to post it here. My best wishes to you! :+1:

I do the same things helping small business around me.

Small groceries shop, vegetable kiosk, fashion shop etc.

All my added places are local small businesses.
