Help shy people to know even more the city where you live.

When I started using Google maps was in a way to solve the problem that I easily get lost in my own city. It was because I lived far away from the center of Santiago (I live in Chile) So I was too shy (and younger :joy: ) to ask unknown people about a place that I was looking for. For that reason, I discovered the google maps app and I look for the comments and description that other local guides added to the platform. Later, I started giving comments and description from places not only in the city, also in other parts of the country in order to continue contributing to the ones that read the descriptions. This is a tool for shy people like me that donโ€™t ask for help in the street while you want to arrive to a place.

Nice post, @Laverdadera ,

I have a suspicion that many of us Local Guides are somewhat introvert and see being a local guide as a kind of compensation and a way to slowly stepping out towards the world in a very safe way. Am I right?

Cheers
