Hi Everyone, As I started myself to engaged this program initially to share my reviews because I personally prefer to check the reviews before visiting to any unknown place later I realized a tremendous opportunity behind it when we share more details about the places and adding new places in the map and correcting the working hours of the shop it has helped other people many times. Basically contributing as local guide u are helping many people either directly or indirectly so It gives me wonderful feeling to me. When u visit historical place you feel great if u have guide like that when I looking for something in google map if it has any of the local guides review then I feel safe and trust about the place.
Now when I visit a place , My observation changed and My expectations are changed and My Gratitude changed and Problem tackling skill improved.
Almost 3 years back on one fine day an email from Gmail in my inbox explaining about Local guide program is the first source of detail about this program and later when I was discussing with my friends I realized the value of being local guide
From then on wards it brought a lot of changes in my life , like be it observing the cleanliness of the hotel to working hours of the shop. When you share the knowledge / experience it creates transparency , trust and collaboration and that increases the power of relationship , yes from then google is part of our family member
I am very proud of being part of this program because when u realize the power of helping others you will be motivated yourself , yes for every review , every Q&A , every photo we add as part of this when u think this is going to help the society and system in some other way it gives me great pleasure
