I have been getting an error message saying, “We’re having trouble publishing your rating/review. Please try again later.” every time I try to post a review with photos. My star rating gets posted but not my review text or photos. This has been going on for several weeks now.
I have a few questions to better understand the situation.
When you’re on the computer, what OS are you using?
When you’re using a phone, what device and OS? Can you also let us know what version of Google Maps you’re using?
Can you try adding photos or doing other contributions?
I want to clarify, you indicated that you have never been able to write a review. Can you confirm that this was never possible and that all of your contributions are other types of contributions? If so, what kind of contributions are they?
Do you know how long this problem has been happening?

Well, I am able to put stars on the review, though when adding text to the review or adding photos it is giving the error message ‘something went wrong, please try again or later’.
I did already 150 reviews, same kind of contributions and this was never a problem until now.
This problem only popped up since a few days ago. Last Saturday I posted a review successfully.

Hello! Since I restored my iphone 3 weeks ago I can’t review even a single place on Maps… Everytime it gives me the same message: ‘Your Google Account is missing your name. To continue, take 10 seconds to add your name’. The thing is that I do have a name, and what’s even worse is that I can’t review on my Mac too… Any help appreciated!
Yes, I have the latest version of Google Maps on my iphone, and the latest version of Google Chrome on my MacBook Pro. I want to mention that I tried with different browsers but the same. I found quite a few topics on the internet about this problem wich persists for years now, and there is no universal sollution. I think I tried everything but no help. And I really need to be able to review asap.
