HELP !!! maps staff ....why does maps remove street view picture with no reason ?

—first you need to understand my frustration here, so keep that in mind when you read about my issue—

hie,

i need to understand something, i have been going to the mountains for years, and i take 360 degree pictures and put them on street view so anyone can enjoy it.

but i discovered that when i go to the area i hike too and turn on street view to see if there are some 360 sphere…there are none of mine anymore… and i don’t get why.

my pictures have not been erase they are still there, and how do i know that ?

because if i drop the yellow dude on where i know i took a 360…it load up the preview, and if i drop the dude on the map and…IT LOAD THE PICTURE

so they are still there but invisible, and i need to know why

i thought maybe its because they are old…but there are picture from 2014 while mine go to 2017 max…so its no an issue of time, and its not an issue of quality because they are good.

so any staff can provide an explanation ? because if i enjoy going there every summer, it something else to turn on yourself for 20 minutes with your phone taking picture and trying to get some data, and i don’t see the point of doing so if my picture become invisible with no explanation.

so far i count 40 360 missing from google map in that area alone

and if you look at the map below, all the red circle show some of my missing 360…that is a lot for such a small area, and they are more missing on the way but that give you an idea of the issue

if you go to this area using the google map link, and drop the yellow dude on one of those red circle you will see the "invisible " 360, so again can any staff help me resolve this issue ? its troubling

I want to inform you that Street View is no longer supported in Local Guides Connect.

You should address your query on the new Street View trusted Help Center, accessible to Trusted Photographers only

In there you will find an indormation about an issue with removed photos, and the indications about how to proceed

Should you be not able to access the new Street View trusted Help Center, please let us know, and we will tag a Street View Moderator for granting the access to your profile.

I never heard of that parameter , i upload more than 700 picture and got 43 million views on them, i also did a 360 street view of a shop few years ago

any update ? because looking into it it seem i check all of the box to be in the program with all the 360 i did, i needed 60, and i know i did more.

Hi @masterac ,

As for the 60 photos you uploaded, please have in mind that the Street View program is under revamp and no new applications are being accepted right now. This means that even if you have met the requirements, you won’t be eligible to become a trusted photographer for now. You can read more about it in this article.
