Help! Lost 20,000 points and guide level

Where is google guide support? I’ve recently and suddenly lost appx 20,000 points off my GG stats and my level has been reduced from 9 to 8. I have not been notified as to why and have reached out to support here but have not gotten any answers. I use guiding to actively update my community on openings, closings, reviews and edits. Thank you

Hello
You are raising the same problem through a new post.

Following is the calculation of points as per the activities appearing on your profile.

Points template Qty Points each Total
Reviews - Detailed 208 21 4368
Reviews short 1995 11 21945
Ratings 3 1 3
Photos 962 5 4810
Videos 23 7 161
Answers 221 1 221
Edits 337 5 1685
Places added 77 15 1155
Roads added 0 0
Facts checked 168 1 168
Q&A 500 3 1500
Published lists 2 10 20
Grand Total 36036
Actual 38091
Difference -2055

In short, the points are higher in comparison to the activities appearing on your profile.

Nevertheless, do you recollect whether the count of reviews, photos etc. was the same?

More particularly, the count 221# of “Answers to the questions” appears to be modest. However, you have confirmed neither you deleted the Maps history manually, nor, the auto-delete is on.

Also, as informed earlier, out of 2203 reviews, 592 are now private. That’s a substantial number & is likely to see the deletion if you do not take any action. However, private reviews & photos continue contributing to points.
Thus, unless you highlight automatic deletion of reviews or photos etc. through the automated action, there wouldn’t be any means to verify the loss of points.

Thanks for your answer @C_T , I have never marked a review private, why would a guide do that ?

You say I have 592 private reviews, how do you see that number ?

Thank you

No one makes any review private @ElkHunter

The automated check scans every profile periodically and makes a review private on detection of objectionable content.

The Maps user-contributed content policies do mention that but do not provide any detailed criteria.

One has to analyse, determine what is objectionable, edit the review to remove that and resubmit.

To find what is private, the easiest approach is by using two devices side by side. Have a look at your profile through the usual logged in mode and through an incognito mode on the other one. You will notice many reviews to be missing in an incognito mode as these are now private.

@ElkHunter I think you are suspended for any wrong contribution.

Thank you @C_T

Not suspended as still contributing, but thanks.

Ok, I have figured it out. This thread can be closed.
