We’re introducing some new ways to help small businesses in Ontario, Canada. If you’re a Local Guide in the area, you can help us spread the word about this new program, ShopHERE powered by Google.
This new resource provides free support to local businesses and artists in Ontario to help them quickly and easily create their own online store*. Businesses will be partnered with a ShopHERE expert to create an E-commerce website on Shopify, and will receive access to free training and promotions from ShopHERE partners, including Google, Shopify, Mastercard, and Facebook.
Help us share this opportunity with business owners and artists in your community, and encourage them to take advantage of this program to start selling online and reach new customers. Here’s a few ways to do so:
Share 1:1: If there are business owners you’re in direct contact with, encourage them to sign up at digitalmainstreet.ca/shophere - whether in person, via text, email, or by phone.
Share on social media: Spread the word with your networks on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. For inspiration, check out this tweet from @GoogleCanada on Twitter and feel free to retweet.
*The ShopHERE program is free for participants to sign up and have a Shopify store built. Businesses will be responsible for the monthly Shopify fee after the initial 90-day free trial.
