Dear moderators, on august 16th I shared a post about Butterflies and a simple photo of a common one in my country ( on old discussion) Over the next couple of weeks it turned into a thread, with people from different countries sharing their photos and a video. The photographs are so beautiful and amazing that I wanted to know could you move this thread from the old discussion board to either local stories or photography so other people can enjoy them, somebody added a photo a few days ago, I think others would enjoy. Well, @Eire27 , why don’t you post the original picture again in a new post?

Hi @JanVanHaver I hope you are well, thankyou for your reply and your idea. I think it would be nice to have the whole thread together with all our photos, video and what we wrote. I have not had a reply from a moderator yet but I think maybe the Google moderators do not work weekends so maybe I will wait until Monday for a reply but it is good that they will see your message too

Hello @JanVanHaver I got a reply from connect moderator Paul about Butterflies I put on help desk, how to’s . He told me to put a link there to Butterflies Thread then he will put it on connect (new) and I can choose topic then) I don’t know how to add the link to Paul or help desk ( Paul @ is part of this message, could you do it please or tell me how to do it, Thankyou

As long as you still have the URL you can open the post and paste the link here from the address bar in your browser… I’ll go to your profile and see if I can find it…

Hi @PaulPavlinovich yes that’s it the one you sent, I hit 3 dots and edit post but it doesn’t have the topics at the top for me to choose from ?

Try now please @Eire27 - it should have worked the first time, but I’ve tried something different. We’ll see if this works.

Hi @PaulPavlinovich so this time yes the topics were at the top and I clicked, local stories, it went blue so I saw then save changes so I clicked that and under post had, local stories but when I go to new connect, local stories, it is Not there. ( sorry for being so much trouble)

It will be there @Eire27 but it will be in the time frame of the post. You’ll have to scroll down repeatedly loading more posts to find it.

Hi @PaulPavlinovich I have tried a couple of more times when j edited it, it says that its on local stories but not showing up on connect local stories although an new email came to say I did a new post in General Discussion. Anyway, Thankyou for all your Help

It is about six pages down in Local Stories. You’ll need to keep going down. If you’re looking from mobile it may not be in that view given how old it is.
