Just to remind you, thatthe local guides program is a totally voluntary program according to 
local guides program rules hereThere is no form of monetization involved at any level.That said you could either go to Google career siteand search or else there are other multiple opportunities you may find but must be done outside the local guides program.
Google my buisness is another avenue I can think but mind you always separate your activities of monetization or private career from the local guides program. Hope that answers your question?

There are several businesses related to Google Maps, and indeed they earn money by offering their expertise to other businesses, e.g. by providing high quality Virtual tour or services related to the Google Business Profile service.
They are highly specialised professional.
But if your question is “how can I earn money as a Local Guide” in this case the answer is that You Can’t.
As said by @SholaIB , Local Guides is a volunteer program, and earning money with your Local Guide activity will automatically put you out of the Local Guides program
@ErmesT I just said this because I need money so I would like to continue here with you. I will try to find ideas for local guides like me to continue this volunteer work. I myself support this.
