My name is Hari Krishna, and I am from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India. I am very happy to introduce myself to this wonderful Local Guides Connect community.
I have been passionate about travelling since 2003. For me, travelling is not just about visiting places or taking photographs. I love experiencing a place personally, understanding its history, culture, spirituality, natural beauty and local atmosphere, and then sharing useful information that may help other travellers.

Over the years, Google Maps has become an important part of my travels. Whenever I visit a place, I try to contribute useful and genuine information through reviews, photographs, videos and answers.
I am currently a Google Maps Local Guide Level 10.

Reaching Level 10 and millions of views is certainly encouraging, but what gives me greater satisfaction is knowing that a photo, review or piece of information I shared may have helped someone decide where to go, what to expect or how to plan their journey.
I strongly believe in “Experience over photos.”
A beautiful photograph can attract someone to a place, but a genuine review based on personal experience can actually help them.
I especially enjoy sharing detailed information about temples and spiritual destinations. Whenever possible, I try to include practical information such as timings, facilities, accommodation, food, accessibility, nearby transportation and other useful details along with my personal experience.
Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend four days at Sri Ramanasramam in Tiruvannamalai, at the foot of sacred Arunachala. Although I had visited Arunachala several times before, staying there peacefully for a few days gave me an entirely different spiritual experience. 
Through Local Guides Connect, I now hope to go beyond individual Maps reviews and share some of my travel experiences, discoveries, useful tips and stories with fellow Local Guides from India and around the world.
I would also love to learn from the experiences of other Local Guides and discover places that I may otherwise never know about.
