What surprise me is that some time ago there was a disclaimer on the page indicating that the App was not associated with Google
Maybe the author decided to remove it, even it the disclaims was required when he asked here in connect

I found a lot of local guides here in this book and I said it seems to belong to Google
In Google Play Store the author of the app is always mentioned @Ismail26
When an App belong to Google this will mentioned under the name of the App, like for Google Maps
This is what is mentioned in the App you are asking about: “disclaimer: this app is not sponsored by Google/Local Guides team”
