Hello from Colorado! I’m planning on a vacation to Ukraine in the near future!

If I get my 360 camera from Google before I go, we should host a guides week!

Kyiv is a must see city because it is the capital.

I am most interested in cultural locations food (especially mothers and grandmothers food) , historical buildings and sculptures.

My biggest motivation is food, cuisines and chefs. Because I am going to add content to Google, I want to add real places people go, for food, scenery sport and comfort.

My plan is to spend only a little time in Kyiv, many people have shared their experiences. I would like to experience places that are seen less by tourists.

I am building a list of villages and cities which should be appreciated for their history and do not get attention from travel guides and shows.

Kyiv because it is capital city.

After Kyiv, I am still planning. I want to find places with real traditional culture, food drink and sport.

My goal is to show people culture from beyond tour guides. I want to eat food mothers and grandmother’s cook and take pictures of cultural significance people don’t see on television or Internet.

Any advice would be a great help.

Anthony, I can help you not only with advice. I can guide you to real life of Ukrainian village, because my relatives live in small villages you even hardly can find on Google Maps. Including cuisine, mores and crafts. As a plus, these villages situated in different ethnic regions of Ukraine - Poltavshchyna (Poltava region) and Podillia (Vinnytsia region). If you are interested, e-mail me. I’m interested in this, because it’s important for my business to popularize Ukraine among foreign tourists. So it will be mutually beneficial.
