I often use Google Maps to explore the location of local places in the United Arab Emirates and specialy Dubai, and read with interest what the local guides and visitors of these places wrote in their comments and definitions on those places. As a practical matter in the media I was required to cover certain events taking place in those places which help me write the story and publish it later in different media platformes in which I write to.
This helped me strongly in understanding the nature of the place and the services and opinion of the people in its servicess and this often led me to ask questions to the workers in the place and its management and direct inquiries to stakeholders and access to information positive.
I noticed also that most of the notes are written in English and I also noticed the demands to translate what some people write in different languages. Therefore, I was instructed to write my guides in Arabic and English to save the efforts and time to the reader who searches for information in Arabic language and translated by using Google Translator…
I am very happy to see pictures and comments that I write to impress the readers and I am often pleased to the responds to the owners and commentators on my comments, which leads me to take more responsibility in writing my next story and here what I urge those responsible for the place pages to read those comments and interact with them, This will inevitably increase mutual trust and help to provide the best services to the place visitors and rangers.
