Way back in 2011 when i returned from USA and started searching location of my birth place Jeypore, Odisha, India i couldn’t hardly find any roads and places. From them on i started my journey to populate every roads and corners of my Birthday. Many a time i raised request with google to update the satellite image so that the roads and street i draw becomes accurate.
Jeypore is the large town in the southern part of Odisha , covered with natural beauty. This is also historical importance place. There are many heritage sites and palaces which will definitely attract new visitors. None of this places were marked in Google Map. From then on i started contributing and trying to cover every important spot that will help the user community.
Eventually as part of work i also keep visiting many countries, there are multiple culture, spot, spot which are not in google so it became my habit to capture every unique or remote place and upload details in google map.
I always love to share the remote place or any unusual things that i spot in Jeypore and all over the world along with the picture that i capture. It could be a beautiful nature pictures, pets, animals, any building, important tourist spot or any food joint. With my post if anyone who is new to the place, should be able to feel as if its very familiar, should create interest in the person viewing to visit the place and also should provide them with all the right information to make their travel safe, happy and enjoyable. I want with just the use of google map anyone should be able to plan their day in any new places they adventure.
You can say that google map has become my partner wherever i go. I feel more the happy when google sends me notification that x number of people have views my contributed spot or liked the pictures that i have uploaded. Google map is my new habit in last few years. I also want to see google map as the only guide for anyone who step out of the house and provide them everything they need anytime anywhere. I wish i could visit moon and mars too so that i can map it in google too :-).
