Sumber Brantas district is definitely a place every landscape photographer dreams. Its located high up on the slope of Mt. Arjuno Sumber Brantas village , Batu. An easy acces to the location from the main provincial road and practically can be reach from two dirrections from Batu or from Cangar which both offers an outstanding view all the way to the end.
A landscape of never ending carefully arranged cultivations of different vegetables makes it look like a perfect carpet of nature.
Every different cultivation compliment each other in a perfect colour combinations which we can enjoy as far as the eye can see.
Photografers can be found on the spot at anytime from the ealy morning waiting for sunset to the late hours hoping to catch a glimpse of milkyway during the dry season. In the perfect weather, we can enjoy the beautiful view of Batu city at night from above. In the contrary Brakseng is often coverred with very thick fog reaching zero visibility at some points of the place. In the wet season where the land is prepared for the next cultivations is actually the best time for taking pictures because we still can see very clearly the natural patern of the landscape. The colours of the bare land against the sourrounding greenery is a perfect spot to take picture from any dirrection.
