As during the lockdown I with my wife have attended Virtual Wellness classes and followed the diets also. We have gained good knowledge of staying well. Also, I lost 5 kg weight by doing this virtual classes. To stay well we must follow healthy diet as well as good exercise including Yoga and Walk. And we achieved good result.
So today I just want to share and care towards our global LG Community, a good healthy diet which is a quick meal.
Uthappam is famous south Indian breakfast pancakes made with lentils, onions, herbs, spices etc. Uthappam is widely made breakfast dish in South India.
Ingredients: (For 2 Adult)
Semolina or you can also use Raagi (Finger Millet)- 1 bowl
Oats - 1 bowl
Onion - 2 nos
Chilies - 5-6 (as per requirement)
Curd - 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds - half tea spoon
Salt to taste
Oil
Procedure: (Maximum time : 15 mins)
Chop the onion and chilies.
Its optional that you make oats powder by grinding. But its optional as you can directly use it.
Take vessel and mix Semolina, Oats powder and Curd. Also, add cumin seeds too.
Add Onion and chilies.
Now mix it well and add water till it gets smooth running batter.
Keep the batter for 10 mins.
Heat the pan and apply small amount of oil.
Spread the batter on heated pan as shown and cover it for 4-5 mins
Cook both sides.
Uthappam is ready to serve with your choice of Chutney, Sauce etc.
