I know many of us love eating momos / dumplings but our fitness routine or diet doesn’t allow us to eat them often!
Here is my take on it…
Healthy , Super tasty , Fulfilling and Yummy Veggie momos (Vegan) ; best part is they are made up of whole wheat and the goodness of veggies help you eat them guilty free!

Ingredients :
Whole wheat flour : 1 cup
Water to make momo dough
Oil : few drops to apply on steamer plate and stir frying veggies
Veggies : any veggies like carrots, cabbage, capsicum, ball peppers, onions, etc as per your choice cut in juveniles
ginger-garlic paste : 1 Tsp
salt , red chilly powder and black pepper powder: As per taste.
Steps :

To make the outer momos cover, take whole wheat flour , add water , little salt and water to make a soft dough. cover it and keep aside.

To make the inner filling, take a pan and add little oil to it. Once oil is heated, add ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 sec. To this add finely chopped veggies of your choice add salt , red chilly powder , black pepper powder as per taste and cook them till half done.(I had added capsicum, cabbage, little vegan cheese ( for non- vegans you can add normal cheese or paneer cheese to make it healthier ) , carrots, beetroot and onion all cut in juveniles to make it healthy)

Now add the filling into the outer cover an make momos by folding them the momos style and steam them for 15-20 min.
Your healthy home made veggie momos are ready!
Eat them with schejwan chutney, you will love it!
This recipe has least amount of refined oil, no refined flours and has goodness of veggies!
