Travelling has been my hobby for many years. I take photos wherever I go and add them to Google Maps along with my honest reviews. I used to do that for fun but when I saw my reviews and photos making an impact, I started doing that more responsibly. Local Guide’s suggestions can really improve your experience when you visit a place. That’s why, I add my reviews and pictures to help people in their journey to explore new places.
To increase my contributions to Google Maps, I visited Northern Pakistan in July, 2019 and I am still in love with this place. These lush green valleys, fruit and vegetable gardens, snow capped mountain peaks, natural lakes, and historical places attract tourists from all over the world. If you want to take a break from your busy routine and relax in nature, then this is the perfect travel destination for you.

Naran in KPK
Do you wish to visit a lush green valley with a river flowing by? From forests to meadows, lakes to mountains, this place is blessed with all the things that makes it a tourist perfect destination. Some of the must visit attractions of Naran are Saif ul Malook Lake, Naran food street, Fairy Meadows and Kunhar River. -
Babusar Top in Kaghan Valley
Babusar Top or Babusar Pass is the final point of Naran which leads to Chilas on Karakoram Highway. This place gets all the benefit of being on the highest point on the mountain junction. You can have the best view of the mountain range from this point. Despite being an irresistibly charming point having a great panoramic view of mountains and valleys, this pass is also a short-cut to other cities like Gilgit and Chilas. Tourist enjoy a comfortable journey with paved roads and restaurants after every 10 KM. The best time to visit Babusar Top is during summers. -
Attabad Lake in Gilgit, Baltistan
This lake was formed in 2010 and now it has became on of the biggest tourist attractions in Gilgit, Baltistan. Visitors can indulge in various recreational activities like boating, jet skiing and fishing. During summers, its turquoise blue color gives a beautiful picturesque for travelers and during winters, the lake is frozen and the people can do ice skating on its vast area. Amidst the enormous mountainous terrain and under the clear blue sky, Attabad Lake offers a magical feeling of peace, serenity and calmness. Away from the city life, this site can soothe the mind and provide a sense of composure. Waterfalls can clearly be seen in the towering mountains surrounding the Lake. -
Altit Fort in Hunza
Apart from the spectacular landscapes and natural beauty, Northern Pakistan also has some great historical places to show. Altit Fort is a perfect depiction of historical heritage preserved in its best in the lap of mother nature. Built around thousand years ago, this fort contains minarets, museum, apricot and cherry farms and much more from the time of hereditary rulers of the Hunza state who carried the title “Mir”. The state of Hunza is rich in natural gemstones. Some of the world’s best gemstones are found here and are also available in the market of this fort. Visitors can buy fresh fruits, dry fruits, caps and apparels, jewelry made of real gemstones, and some musical instruments like Rubab and Tutek. Some of the fruit shops in this market allow you to eat free from their trees. I’ve found a local juice shop in this market that serves complimentary dry fruits to their customers. I found that this shop was not listed on the Google Maps, so I’ve added this fruit shop on the Google Maps and posted some of its pictures also, so that everyone can experience their hospitality and great quality of items on their menu. By doing so, I received free juice and some dry fruits from this shop and eventually, made new friends ?
