Wanaka Lake - Lonely Tree

This small tree is 70 years old and grown inside the lake. People are now restricted to touch or climb it to avoid damage to the tree. This mobile shoot was taken by me last year touring NZ.

Hawea Lake

This is scenic lookout point @ Hawea Lake. What a place to be framed. Isn’t the photo look like a drawing?

The New Zealander landscape is so scenic and crisp, I agree with you @TriDev , it does look like a drawing. It amazing how that tree has been there for 70 years and grew from inside the lake.

Great photos @TriDev . This is abeautiful part of the South Island. I skied in nearby Cardrona many times and love it. Thank you for sharing your photos, yes looks like a drawing!

Hi @AdamGT

I have travelled all over the world and I liked two countries the most, 1) New Zealand and 2) Bhutan. You may be surprised by my second selection, but it is the most scenic place full of mountains and you hardly find level ground there.

Hi @OliverKIWI ,

Thanks. I would like to be there again. NZ is a beautiful country.

Hi @Zino ,

NZ is a beautiful country.

And That :evergreen_tree: is unique. You will never find such a thing anywhere else. People over the years have damaged it and so Government is very strict about preserving it from human beings itself. :-

@AdamGT you went there more times than I do

And a piece of bad news as well (just as the Bull at Wall St, NYC) the tree was vandalised as well:( There are mad people out there!
