I am a rookie Local guide with simple agenda to improve the Google maps in the locality I live in. I am really passionate about adding small businesses to Google maps because it helps people find solutions for their issues, within their locality and do not have go across regions for simple problems. I believe localised solutions tend to reduce out carbon footprint, lesser traffic in cities and a less tedious lives for everyone.
In this quest I usually add all local businesses to Google maps but I have been facing some trouble lately. None of my additions seem to be getting accepted. I cant seem to figure out why.
May I add that the phone numbers are well protected against edits because if anyone can change them you can also high jack the listing.
Make sure the phone number is publicly listed in the Local phone directory with the same business name and address. So prepaid numbers and private/unlisted numbers are no good.
Looking at your screenshot, you are trying to add two banks in Map.
Banks are a very sensitive subject, and in most of the planet an edit, or the creation of a new listing, of a bank is almost impossible. Normally the local branch of a bank is possible to add only for the bank itself, through they Google My Business account.
In addition looks like the phone number you used is a number listed as “not usable” or spam.
I can add that:
Adding banks, or post offices (like the one visible in some of your photos linked to an “unknown place”) generally end in a rejection. Google source data in other ways, for that kind of listings.
The long series of duplicate photos do not help you, and you should do a deep cleaning of your account, before to try some more edit.
I like your introduction, but it is totally unrelated to your issue.
Reducing our carbon footprint is important, but it is totally unrelated to adding a bank in maps.
If you live in the area, and you want to help people to find the local branch of the bank, talk to the manager, inviting them to contact the one who manage Google My Business for them, to fix the issue

I have been adding edits to my locality, and they tend to get approved when i add them with appropriate photos. Is my number blocked for adding new places?
People in my locality are not much into google maps. They do not care much about information accuracy on google maps, but I opine that better informational accuracy on google maps can lead to better adoption, and people can gain valuable services from their own locality. They would not have to drive for another 10km to get the same services.
I have had some trouble adding other places (non-banks) to my locality as well. I did add photo proofs for the same but it doesnt seem to work.
