Hi Local Guides
I have always been a fan of Google, and since taking up photography I could not but join Local guides community As I gained familiarity with the app I noticed that some users just dump their photos on a location even if not relevant.
I have therefore resolved that any shots I put up need to be accurate and directly related to that location .
Furthermore I have realised that this information is important to the community especially for students (besides tourists) and therefore I do include a review when I can. If an important site is not listed on maps I try to get it accepted by Google. My latest success in this area is is a small chapel in Rabat : Nativity of Our Lady (ta ‘Casha’)
It took quite a lot of research to get all relevant info but finally the Chapel was accepted and added to Google maps. This has become a mission for me and it makes me really enjoy Google Maps.
Do you have a similar experience?
