Holiday seasons are upon us and it is time to travel!

In each country, there are landmarks. Some of these landmarks have their special icons on Maps. If you have been following the Explore the world Challenge by Naresh (Connect Moderator & Guiding Star), you would have seen many of these landmark icons from different countries and if you do not quite understand what these landmark icons are, you can read this post from Tushar (Connect Moderator & Guiding Star).

So, my question is; “have you visited an iconic landmark in your country?” Did you get the feeling; “wow! I see why it made it here?”

Visit to Nike Art Gallery

The Nike Art Gallery is one of the iconic landmarks in Nigeria.

Entrance Fee - Free to visit but if you require the services of a Tour Guide, you pay

Location - It is in a good location bound by accessible roads

Architecture - a unique blend of modern and Gothic arts

Accessibility - It is not Wheelchair-Accessible

Parking - There is minimal parking in front but no special parking

Type of Art - a variety; Paintings, Mosaic, collage, Metal scrap, Sculpture, Pencil and charcoal sketches, oil paintings, Wood carvings, Art Created from Plastic Wastes, etc.

Fun Fact - This is not the only Nike Art Gallery in Nigeria, I have visited the other one at Oshogbo also
