Have you tried egg coffee in Vietnam?

Vietnam is famous for consuming lots of coffee. People can drink coffee everywhere, from fancy cafe’s to vendors with a bicycle who walk around to sell coffee on the street. But, apart from traditional black coffee, there is an unique kind of coffee which is emerging and well known to many tourists, called “Egg coffee”. It is a Hanoi speciality in which a creamy soft, meringue-like egg white foam is perched on dense Vietnamese coffee.
Have you tried one? What did you think?

This coffee drink with egg is really inspiring. Have tried some Chinese beverages with egg pudding and really liked them… but never imagined the existence of a coffee with egg. It really makes me curious to try it. I think it could be a nice discovery.

Very interesting, didn’t know about egg coffee…, @Wintermadness !

So I will try to order one in the Vietnamese restaurants from now on in Israel or Ukraine and will let you know ;)!

Can you make it on your own too or to buy in the shops to make it home?

Thank youuuu for sharing!

its difficult to do it at home because the one who invented it has his own secret to mix it. i hope you will tell me what you think if you try it in the future
