Let me try and define tourist street as popular hotspot in any cities where tourist
come to for shopping , dining , entertaiment , drinking and walk.
A typical tourist street is densely packed with
restaurants and cafes, entertainment centers , massage and spa , game centers, bars and street shows.
Tourist streets mostly come to life at night and usually activities continue till next day.
Before I tell you about my latest tourist street discovery , let me share those I knew with you first, you might just find yourself any of the cities where they are located.
I am starting with the one I like best :
1 . Walking street , Pattaya
2 . Khao San Road , Bangkok.
3. Ulitsa Vaynera , Yekatrinburg
4. Arbat Street , Moscow
And my latest addition is the popular street in Kiev , Khreschatyk Street .
When a friend asked me , have you been to Khreschatyk street.
I replied him , probably yes , the street is a beehive of activity and lined with beautiful buildings that I have no doubt in my mind this the street he was describing to me.
The Khreschatyk street is walled with shopping and dining places , left or right where ever you turn a sight of an exotic fashion boutique await you. From Gucci to Calvin Klein to the brands I never knew, all are brightly displayed behind a glass wall. The street is simple put a Shopping paradise.
If you steer your mind away from the tempting boutiques , you will surely be attracted to the cozy restaurants and cafes which lined the street with ultra furnished outdoor seating.
What next is to grab a comfortable seating in any of the fancy restaurants and appreciate the open fashion parade unfurling before your eye from the thousand of beautifully dressed tourist and Kievan walking along the street .
further down the street is the Independence Square of Ukraine . It is a sight to behold. The independence monument towered above all other structures . Its gold cladding glitter for all to see.
Here also lies the memorial of the heroes of democracy whom through their act of valour has restored democracy back to Ukraine .
