Once i was taking some photos to help a local business but suddenly the owner came angry to me and asked angrily to delete the photos. Then i told him that i was helping him by posting these on Maps. He apologized then.

Yes, @nandulks it often happens that the business owner gets angry because he has no idea about our purpose to taking photos. So whenever I click a photo of a business, I seek the permission of its owner as well as explain the benefits of Google business to him.

Explaining what you are doing is always a good idea @nandulks and you should not take photos anywhere where the practice breaks laws or rules or even the desires of a business owner.
You did the right thing in explaining what you are doing and if you show them your Maps Local Guides profile and show them how they can manage their business then they will likely be ok.
