Thank you for your post. I don’t know why , but your pictures caught my eyes so I have made some research about this church. I discovered that inside it contains mummified bodies, did you have to chance to saw them or to hear some of the legends behind and the reasons of this kind of unique symbolism?
@Sorbe It’s normal. They are not “normal” mummified bodies. They are “Saints”. It’s possible to see them without enter in the church. There is a special window and you can see them walking on the street. It’s not normal a lot of skulls and skeletons outside the church but this is a special church, a church of Purgatory.
