Last year, there was a discourse in the forum and I was bantering with a guide from Portugal.

Well, I was at Krush Cafe yesterday evening and guess who walked up to my table to ask “are you Queen, google local guide?”

Same man!

He’ll be working here this year and so he’s going to teach me Portuguese. Yay!

Have you ever ran into a guide who recognised you from your reviews and photos?

Check this article: What photographs should I share on Google Maps? Selfie groups, duplicated pictures, and poor-quality images can be removed or marked as private, and you lose points.
