It’s a mega Japanese store and I visited Don Don Donki for the first time this year at City Square Mall, SIngapore! I was so excited, I took lots of photos and videos and finally got down to editing them to share with everyone!
Superb video @mdmkoo
You’re very fortunate in the land of Singapore!
In London we can only take a photo (not a video) of the exterior of a shop or cafe, restaurant. Unless given written permission by that place, which usually comes with a fee.
So I usually only take an exterior shot and just of my food unless I feel I can speak with the host.
We cannot take photos of a supermarket in London because of security purposes.
I think Singapore must be a wonderful place to live in!

Any good tips on best stuff to buy in Donki? That store is so massive I get lost.
@Kol-Colleen_2018 I’m really counting my blessings to be able to do a lot of things easily and safely around here. I love going around snapping photos and taking videos, and so far not an issue, unless places like museums and galleries etc.
@JulienH Oh yes it’s easy to get lost among the many tall shelves of colourful products!
So far my favourite buys are definitely the instant ramen and instant miso mix to whip up simple easy meals on lazy days. And my kids love them as much as going out to Japanese restaurants, so definitely a win!
Yes that is how I see it!
It is the nicest feeling to go into a restaurant for example and take a photo of the food which helps the business as well!
I think 1 or 2 businesses can’t decide whether it’s good for customers to take a photo of the food and do a review or not.
It’s odd thinking because the 1 branch the manager said 'just take an exterior photo shot ’ doesn’t have much views - which is a pity because the place is nice.
Only 1 branch of a high street chain! The other place changed - left a short while after the assistant said he was no sure if his boss wanted a review. I asked out of politeness but as a paying customer I am entitled to review a place like all Food and beverage reviewers in newspapers !
Oh la la!

Yes, I enjoy taking photos freely and sharing reviews freely too. And isn’t it good publicity for the restaurants too?
One example: I went to this place and took photos and videos. The videos go into this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCcCD7pWdX0&list=PLcv3UtP91xJ0L7IGhcJCLPILZYivUu8g0 and the photos were uploaded on Google Maps. And one of these photos is my most viewed photo with over a million views! I even mentioned it in my video.
Please visit Singapore some day and may be we can go around taking photos of food and places together!
Looks nice!
Sounds a good idea! I’m busy now reading up on my extra (Ambassador) role spec which is pages long of Intro plus 7 sections of documents that I will only go any place Google lets me host!

@Kol-Colleen_2018 wow!!
It’s like the slow dripping tap though as I have to do a Presentation but I have my football team’s match to attend to and have set up a regular football team and practice.
Amongst many other responsibilities!
