I like to contribute to Google Maps with my wanderings both at home and also in other cities and countries. The more that I can give context and reviews, the more I can feel like I am making a small difference in the world, especially when I review a place that hasn’t been on the map before. You get real value from people’s pictures and reviews, ratings, to see where a good place is, near where you are, on Planet Earth. My hobby is now my purpose, at least a chunk of it.
