Has anyone found an easy way to manage and organise Google Maps lists?

Since the early days of Google Maps, I’ve been starring places all over the world, marking places I know, places I want to go, places I’ve been to (and would recommend), etc… If I was starting afresh with the current functionality, it would be pretty easy with the current lists functionality, but I have a legacy mess that I want to clean up.

Has anyone found a good way to manage the lists and move items between lists in bulk or batches? I’d like to separate out restaurants, POIs and personal places, and at the moment, they’re all in my starred list.

No, @KishenLionheart

There is actually no way to move places in batch from a list to another.

The faster way is actually to open the places in the list one by one and to assign them to a different list.

Let me add: Some list operations work slightly different in apps compared to on desktop. It might be worth for you to check the other platform to see if it is easier or faster for you.

Hi @MortenCopenhagen . I’ve checked on Android App and Desktop, but as @ErmesT says, it’s definitely not possible to edit / move in bulk
