Hi, my name is HARYUDI
I am a journalist in one of the leading national media in Indonesia.
Apart from my work as a journalist who has many opportunities to travel to new places, both in my country and in several countries in Southeast Asia. I happen to have a hobby that has existed since before becoming a journalist, namely writing, traveling, hiking, camping, and photography.
Then I thought about how so that my work would still be able to channel my hobby, so that it could still be enjoyed and not saturated in living it. So I collaborate, wherever I go it must be a paper or news that is worth publishing, so that it can help and inspire everyone.
Talk about a favorite place and make it so special and memorable is Ermun Island, in Kaimana Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia. The place, in my opinion is very amazing, even though I have never been to Raja Ampat, West Papua, but after I saw it on the website, social media and youtube. In my opinion, Kaimana Regency is very interesting to visit. Besides the panoramic view of the coast, many spots of natural beauty have not been explored in West Papua as the most eastern region of Indonesia.

One thing about this community that everyone needs to know is interesting because we can share experiences of places we have visited, especially new places that other people might not know. There we can share many tips or suggestions to answer questions. I am very happy to help people who need more information about the places I have visited. When it comes to awards or prizes, etc., I think it’s just a bonus that isn’t really expected, which obviously I like to share information with anyone.

The reason why I am proud to be a local guide, because this is a new experience for me too. My interest and feeling of wanting to always share anything, can be channeled to this local guide. Ranging from sharing photography to commenting and reviewing places I’ve visited. I even like it if someone asks about the place I’ve visited. What is clear is that I want to always do good and inspire everyone, no matter how small through my work. Therefore, I am very proud and very happy to be able to join this local guide.

Yes, I think Papua is worthy of being included in the bucket list of the dream trip, because the cost is enough to ‘drain the bag’. But I am sure it will be worth the view and experience gained there
