Harvesting wild garlic

From February to the end of march it is the best time for harvesting wild garlic. We found some nice spots, where we found always lots of wild garlic, which we love to eat with pasta, bread, cheese and so on. When having leftovers of fresh wild garlic there are lots of pesto receipts on the internet. For example https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/wild-pesto

Attention: If you work in the office, or with other people close up, you should not eat it for breakfast. Otherwise, your colleagues will smell it!

Hi @patpl

It is very nice to see stories that are not related to loss of points and pictures, or the virus.

Where in the world do you live since now is the season for garlic?

Cheers

Thank you @MortenCopenhagen ! This is at the Black Forest, south Germany, just one hour from where I live. But around my how town Offenburg there are some woods, where you can find that, what we call ‘Bärlauch’ in Germany.

To go there, and collect it, is still legal, but most people rather were about stuff, they are not allowed to do anymore…
